Update and Guest Gallery

Just a quick update, and to draw your attention to the Guest Gallery (click on navigation bar link above).
Andrew Parr of Sydney Australia sent some pictures of a recent game using his 40mm semi-flats, and they were just too good not to be seen by a worldwide audience... well those who visit this blog at least.

here's a taster... more on the Gallery page.

Meanwhile I also had a very charming email from a well-known name in wargames circles, Andy Callan, whose writings will be familiar to many of you I'm sure, especially when I say "Loose Files and American Scramble", and The Dark Age Infantry Slog (DAIS) system. Andy was about to refight Sittangbad with his Spencer Smiths and had used this blog as a reference for all the characters required (well, that was a mistake!). Andy discovered I had missed one out of my cast of characters on the right. But, I'm not going to tell you which... yet. See if you can spot it (an excuse to pick up your copy of "Charge" and study the text intently again - as if you needed an excuse!)

That's all for now.

Its Von Luckner - the electoral cavalry commander at Sittangbad.

Am I sad that I have a copy of charge right next to my bed.?
